Ski Mountaineering
Fundamentals of ski mountaineering such as route finding, rope
management, ridge climbing, and advanced ski travel skills. Requires
adequate winter camping and backpacking skiing skills. Instruction
will include land-management and wilderness ethics. Overnight Winter
camping.

Uphill skinning technique
Backcountry touring & route finding
Mountain weather & forecasting
Snow anchors
Emergency shelters
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High level of fitness
Strong-intermediate skier
Trekking/backpacking experience
Basic rope skills
