Coming
in June: The OWLS Guide School
The
Outdoor Wilderness Leadership School has been a pioneer
in the outdoor industry for 10 years. Over this time
we have seen a great void in the industry for developing
highly trained guides. Therefore, OWLS is launching
a guide school more comprehensive than anything in the
market today.
We will be committed to developing and training the
leadership in the outdoor education industry and will
be offering nationally recognized certifications. This
is where you need to start if you want a job with companies
like; NOLS, Outward Bound, OARS, and all other outdoor
education companies.
These
programs will be available for college credit and will
include detailed curriculum in: Wilderness Leadership,
Decision Making, AMGA Top Rope Site Manager, ACA Swift
Water Rescue, Avalanche 1 & 2, Ski Mountaineering,
Wilderness First Responder, and others.
Look
