Top-Rope Anchor Systems

You are ready to become more independent and start setting up your own top-ropes.  This comprehensive course is designed to teach you how to set up redundant safe top-rope anchors.  We will use natural anchors as well as artificial (gear) anchors.  The student will get first-hand experience building their own anchors.  They will learn to analyze their own and other anchors.  The student will also learn scene safety and risk evaluations.  The emphasis will be on bottom belay anchor situations.  The student should come prepared for a long day of learning, discussion and practice.
