Self-rescue

No matter how hard you prepare or how safe you are, not all accidents in climbing are avoidable.  It is recommended that anyone doing a lot of outdoor climbing take this course.  You will learn knot craft, escaping the belay, ascending methods, haul systems, rappelling methods, leader rescue, and counter weight rescues.  This course requires a solid understanding of anchors.  The student should be prepared for a long day of learning, discussion and practice.  This course is great for climbing partners to take together.
