Rock Climbing and Kayaking Programs The Outdoor Wilderness Leadership School’s Adventure Learning Center offers: Rock Climbing, and Kayaking courses for individual sign up. We also offer for groups of three or more: Caving, Mountain Biking, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Backpacking, Fly-fishing, mountaineering, and ice climbing. These programs are all taught by instructors, guides and facilitators who are experts in their field of adventure recreation.
Our climbing program is the largest in the Mid Atlantic and central virginia with “Sport Climbs”, Top Rope, and “Lead Climbing Clinics”. Our partnership with Montana Alpine Guides makes OWLS the only year round “permitted” climbing school in Southwest Montana. The mountain biking trails built by OWLS staff at Wintergreen Resort have been rated #1, by www.Mtbr.com and www.ridemonkey.com Lets not forget that we guarantee you will nail your roll in our kayaking classes or you come back for FREE. Our courses are taught by ACA and AMGA trained instructors.
